FLORIDA

We drove to Melbourne, FL for a long weekend to visit our friends, the Weatherspoons. Despite a little rain and a windy morning on the beach, our family saw more sun this past week, than we have during the past two years.

While in Florida, we went to Walt Disney's Wide World of Sports to watch our beloved Braves play a Spring Training game against the Detroit Tigers. The next day we hit the beach for a few hours. We would have played near the waves a little longer, but the pelting sand from the strong wind was rough. Most of our time in Melbourne was spent visiting and taking it easy.

The last day was spent in St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city. What a great place! We hopped on the Red Train Tour for a few hours in the morning and even played a 9-hole game of miniature golf before driving back to Atlanta. Our last night in a hotel taught our family that drawing straws is the best way to see who has to share a bed with Spencer. He is a definitely a mover and a shaker.

FUN TIMES!!
