Spencer was always good for a smile when he ran the bases. He slid into EVERY base... even when he hit one of his many “home runs!” (No outs in t-ball, and he was often last in the lineup to bat.) He earned the nickname, “Slider.”
Our little OCD Boy has developed an OBSESSION with the Braves. He will pace back and forth in his room at night, popping his head out the door to ask the score. The first thing out of his mouth in the morning is, "Dad, what was the score? Did the Braves win?" Then he asks if he can watch... (sigh) Sports Center. He's 5!! Shouldn't he want to watch morning cartoons? I have a feeling his dad won't have any problem encouraging this behavior.
Today he was looking at a Braves game program, trying to sound out and read the names. Spencer points to a player and says, "Oh, I know who that is. His nickname is 'Putz.' That's what Dad calls him."

Oh wow, that's where Taylor is headed! He LOVES the Diamondbacks! He will sit at a game and actually watch. We're not to the Sports Center phase yet, but it's coming, I just know it!
Spencer is seriously adorable!! Jacob hopes we have a little boy like him one day :)
Oh man, I hope his games go until July so we can see Slider in action! What an awesome kid.
Oh dear - looks like he's been brainwashed just like Jake. He has the same obsession:) We just finished T-Ball too. Mike coached and their team name was yes - the Braves. Fun stuff!
